B-17 'Sally B'

This photo shows the famous B-17 'Sally B' flying through the air. In this photo, Sally B is showing the "D" marking which commemorates the 100th Bomb Group "Bloody Hundredth" which operated B-17 during the war, this mark is being used today to mark the 100th Air Refuelling Wing of the USAF based at RAF Mildenhall.
